As a small family wine business focusing on quality over quantity, we produce only a limited quantity of wine each year, so the only way to taste the Sophie James ✨MAGIC✨is to join our club. 

Due to the limited production of our wine, we are not in grocery stores or wine shops. If you don’t want to continue after receiving your first shipment, you can simply cancel. But we know you’ll love our organically-farmed wines!

Due to our small production, membership in the Sophie James Wine Club is available by invitation on a first-come, first-served basis. There’s no membership fee, just the cost of our wines and shipping.

Upon joining the club, you’ll receive your first wine club shipment, called our new member “Welcome Package,” to give you a taste of our current release wines, based on the club you sign up for! 

The Sophie James Wine Club releases our limited-production wines exclusively to our members, shipped seasonally, four times a year in the Spring, Summer, Fall & Holiday season (and we only charge per shipment).

Sophie James member releases are shipped seasonally, four times a year in the Spring, Summer, Fall & Holiday season. You’ll receive a seasonal club release announcement email with release shipment details and charging dates ahead of each delivery.

Once your package is picked up by our shipping partner, you will receive a tracking email to help you plan for your delivery.

If you need to make changes to your membership or add-on wine to your seasonal club shipment (a great option to save on shipping costs!), please log into your Member Dashboard, or get in touch with our team before the release deadline by emailing us or DMing Sophie on Instagram.

The wines you will receive will vary each shipment, based upon the club you sign up for and our new and current release offerings. You’ll receive a seasonal club release announcement email with release shipment details and charging dates ahead of each delivery.

This email outlines the wines in your club shipment and allows you to add-on wine to your release to save on shipping costs. You will receive this email before your credit card is charged so that you have time to contact our team if you wish to make changes to your account or club.

Yes! You can make changes to your Sophie James account, including changing clubs, updating your billing or shipping information, pausing, or canceling your membership. To skip a release, please log into your Member Dashboard. Please email us if you want to change clubs or cancel your membership before the deadline outlined in the seasonal club release announcement email. 

If the deadline has passed and your credit card has already been charged, please email us at club@sophiejameswine.comwe and are be happy to make changes to your account for the next release.

Yes! We allow our members the flexibility to skip up to two member releases while securing their membership spot for future releases.

To skip a release, please log into your Member Dashboard before the next release deadline to make changes to your account.

Sign into your Sophie James account to make changes to your shipping address and billing information. 

Follow these steps to update your credit card:

1. Click HERE to log in to your Sophie James account

2. Next, click the "Account Details" section and click the button, "add credit card."

3. Add your new card info, and then tick the box “Make my default payment method” and click “Save card.”

We will always email you a seasonal club announcement with all of the assortment, shipping, and charging timelines ahead of the club charge date. 

The credit card attached to your membership account will be charged approximately 1-2 weeks after we send the seasonal club release announcement email. 

New members will be charged for the “Welcome Package” within the first week of joining the club. 

You can cancel your membership anytime after receiving your first shipment. Please reach out to our team at club@sophiejameswine.com before the next release deadline to make changes to your account.

If the deadline for account changes has passed, the cancellation will go into effect after your final wine release has been charged and shipped.

NEW 2025 Cuvée Nouveau of Pinot Noir
Our juicy-cherry-berry Nouveau dream is back! Gorgeous burst of bright, fresh black cherries, juicy blackberries, freshly-baked berry cobbler & a subtle note of violet florals. Crisp, refreshing and so satisfying when served with a little chill! The new vintage is a little more serious, more structured - but still our favorite unicorn wine!

NEW 2025 Rosé of Pinot Noir
Our new rosé continues in our classic, Sophie James style that has made it our best-selling and most popular Sophie James wine. Made from only the best, organically-farmed Pinot Noir fruit typically reserved for a premium red wine - the new vintage is berrylicious & gushing with strawberry goodness. 

Fresh wild strawberries, juicy strawberry Starbursts, tart cherry juice, ripe apricot & even a little wild blueberries! Viibrant acidity & incredible texture. 

2023 Pinot Noir
Made in the beloved, fresh, Burgundian-style, with juicy dark red cherries, fresh-picked wild blackberries, and strawberry-rhubarb flavors. Layers of depth and complexity hit the palate leading into earthy notes, and a smooth but subtle finish of caramel.

2022 Library Vintage Pinot Noir
Our library vintage 2022 Pinot Noir is tasting so delicious right with a few more years aging in bottle. Think crushed raspberries & cherries & complex volcanic minerality.

2024 Chardonnay
Sunshine in a bottle. Meyer lemon and crème brûlée, with subtle notes of Asian pear & tangerine on the finish. Bright, beautiful acidity with a velvety body and texture!   

2023 Library Vintage Chardonnay 
Our 2023 library vintage Chardonnay continues to shine brightly with a little more time in bottle, with mouthwatering notes of citrusy-creamy, zesty lemon-lime sorbet, juicy pear, honeysuckle & minerality.

2023 Sparkling Blanc de Noir
Inspired by the heritage of Champagne, our new Sparkling Blanc de Noirs is a rare and beautiful expression of the iconic 2023 vintage, crafted in the traditional French Champagne style from our 100% organically-farmed Sonoma Mountaintop Estate Pinot Noir.

Juicy red plum, bright red cherries, lime zest, hazelnut & a hint of violet. A deep, soulful sparkling wine, uplifted by a heavenly fine mousse! Pure bliss at first sip!

2022 Sparkling Rosé of Pinot Noir
Crafted using Méthode Champenoise, the traditional, French sparkling production style. Aromas and flavors of fresh wild strawberries, watermelon & juicy peach, with a hint of freshly-baked croissant on the finish. Elegant texture & refreshing acidity.

Yes, all our wines are organically-farmed and do not contain any harmful or unnatural additives - and that includes no animal by-products!

Shipping costs are based on weight (number of bottles) and which state we are shipping to.

Please email our team at club@sophiejameswine.com if you would like to know exactly how much it will cost to ship to your state. 

An adult (21+) signature is required by law for all wine deliveries. If you’re unavailable, FedEx will attempt redelivery up to 3 times before returning your shipment back to our facilities, incurring a reshipment fee. 

We recommend updating your shipping address to a business (instead of office) address if you are away from home during delivery hours. You can log in to your Member Dashboard to update your shipping address online.

Alternatively, you can reroute your delivery while in transit or send your wine directly to a FedEx hold location for pickup. FedEx will hold onto your shipment for up to for 5 business days before returning the wine to Sophie James. 

We highly recommend signing up for a free FedEx Delivery Manager account, downloading the FedEx Mobile App, and opting into SMS communications so that you have updated notifications regarding your wine delivery every step of the way!

If you would like assistance adding your nearest FedEx pickup location to your deliveries, please contact us at club@sophiejameswine.com before the next release deadline to make changes to your shipping address. 

While we are unable to adjust the delivery address of your wine once in transit, FedEx allows you to manage your delivery options yourself! Please enter your tracking number at FedEx.com. You can "manage delivery" and select “hold at location” to reroute to a FedEx location near you. FedEx will hold your package for up to 5 business days to pick up at your convenience. 

If you have any additional questions, please call 1-800-GoFedEx and provide them with your tracking number. They can assist you with managing your delivery options.

Don’t worry, we want nothing more than for you to enjoy your wines as soon as possible! If you miss your delivery or it’s not picked up from a FedEx location in the required timeframe (5 business days) your wines will be returned to us. 

Please email us at club@sophiejameswine.com and confirm the correct address for reshipment. We will cover the cost to have the wine shipped back to our warehouse, however, since we are a small business, we will need to charge a re-shipping fee to your credit card on file before the wine is shipped back out to you again.
